About John DiPietro

John DiPietro has extensive media credentials on a national basis.  DiPietro is a native of the Springfield, Massachusetts area (Agawam) and attended school here before graduating from Assumption College in Worcester.

His background includes the business side of television as well as production work with New England College Basketball where he assisted Hall of Famers Bob Cousy and Tom Heinsohn.  He also has experience working with NFL star and current New England Patriots broadcaster, Gino Cappelletti.  

His national speaking career has taken him from Las Vegas, to Dallas to Orlando to Atlanta to New York and back to Boston. “I am really looking forward to launching simplyliving and pleased to be working with Maggie Pereiras on this new show to spotlight businesses, attractions and events in the Greater Springfield area, ” said DiPietro.

“ABC 40 and Fox 6 Springfield will be bringing a great new concept to the marketplace that will soon be the talk of the town,” DiPietro proudly stated.  “This is a special treat to come back to the place of my childhood and extol the benefits of life in the Pioneer Valley.”

DiPietro’s additional media experience is as a producer for serveral shows that are broadcast in the Worcester/Boston market.  Even with his busy schedule, he has spent several semesters teaching media classes at the college level.

DiPietro’s media and advertising career has teamed him with some of the greatest names in sports and entertainment including Kenny Rogers, Neil Diamond, Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, the Harlem Globetrotters, Boston Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins and New England Patriots.  In fact, he was even worked with Cookie Monster from Sesame Street and the clowns from The Greatest Show on Earth.

DiPietro has authored, “You Don’t Have to be Perfect to be Great,” which is available at leading bookstores and Amazon.com.
