THE BRIDE: Jeanna, 28, an account executive
THE GROOM: Tyler, 27, a supply chain analyst
THE DATE: July 17
Having both grown up on the coast of Maine, in towns ten minutes apart, Jeanna and Tyler wanted their wedding to showcase the area.
With a shabby chic theme in place, the couple got creative by incorporating touches reminiscent of Maine throughout the affair: They used a boat paddle as their guest book; decorated with lobster traps, buoys and ocean rocks; and even threw a lobster bake as their rehearsal dinner.
The Reception Decor
The reception tent looked the part with dark wood chiavari chairs, white cushions and round tables draped in light blue toile linens. Tall glass vases topped with white hydrangeas and decorative toy boats, which also doubled as table numbers, gave the tables a fresh finish.
The Signature Drink
Two special drinks were on tap: a Wild Blueberry Spritzer and a Dark ‘n Stormy (a nod to their Bermuda honeymoon).
Ivory roses and peonies were tied together with a lace handkerchief (from Jeanna’s grandmother) and a preppy navy-striped ribbon and then accented with a silver vintage flower brooch.
