Boston’s Long Wharf Meets Irene
August 29th, 2011
BOSTON, Mass. (WGGB) — Traditionally Boston’s Long Wharf is used by ferries and sightseeing boats. Ferry services heading to Provincetown, Logan Airport and the Harbor Islands National Recreation Area depart from the pier.
Today nothing was moving, except the wind and water forcing its way onto the usually tame wharf. Now, officials are keeping an eye out for the next tide.
