“The Simpsons” and “You Think you Can Dance” renewed for another season
October 11th, 2011
The longest-running scripted show in television history, The Simpsons was renewed by FOX through season 25. Currently in its 23rd season, The Simpsons will be back for a 24th and a 25th season totaling 559 episodes. After the MLB American League Championship Series and World Series games, The Simpsons will resume on FOX with all-new episodes starting October 30 at 8p with a special Halloween episode.
Late last week, FOX also gave So You Think You Can Dance a ninth season renewal saying the dance competition show will return next summer. FOX did not, though, indicate who will be part of the show’s judges panel.
