But I did like seeing Mike push for facts and not let the empty rhetoric stand. There is no easy way to challenge someone, it can get messy - call yourself an army and there may be tones of war. There is a ton of money that would have to be supplied by E&#039;ton taxpayers to implement Mr. Emerson&#039;s ideas. In this current economic climate, how funds are distributed is crucial; there needs to be thoughtful, intelligent, decision making for the long term. Not campaign promises.

Easthampton is in the black - there aren&#039;t many communities that can say that. The way Easthampton&#039;s many departments have handled their fiscal responsibilities is to be lauded.

It is painfully obvious that more debate is needed. It will be a disservice to Easthampton for Mr. Emerson to dodge the channel 22 news invitation.]]></description>
