Some of the fortunate individuals with power took their children out trick or treating on dark streets with downed wires and tree limbs, branches everywhere. Did they remain on the sidewalks? NO, because the couldn’t!! So, instead they walked in the streets with their children and treated the event as a great big block party. Many of the children were being driven and the cars were double parked blocking already severely compromised roadways! I know Halloween is important to children especially after this horrendous storm. Children are NOT expected to make wise choices, BUT, their parents are!!!!!
