SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) – Cops say June was a bad month for 23-year old Fransisco Nieves.
First he was spotted with some other people hanging around a van in the parking lot of The Fifth Alarm Gentleman’s Club after hours.
The group looked suspicious, so cops ran the license plate and it came back stolen.
“The officers got more than just a stolen car. They searched Nieves and the vehicle and came up with 52-bags of crack all packaged for sale, bags of marijuana and cash strewn through out the car,” said Springfield Police Sergeant John Delaney.
They were all arrested. Nieves bailed out, never showed for his court date and 9-days later was up to no good again.
“A 27 year old victim, was at square one watching her little daughters kindergarten graduation, proud as can be. Mr Nieves was there, no idea why he was there, he was seen putting his hand in her purse and taking out her iPod and scooting out the door,” added Delaney.
So police are after Nieves for that too. His last known address was Worthington Street in Springfield.
Police believe he is still somewhere in Western Mass. So keep your eyes open in case you cross paths with the wanted criminal.
