Fundraiser for Christopher Bizilj

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — The family of Christopher Bizilj held a fundraiser at Jake’s Wayback burgers on Carew Street in Springfield.
20 percent of the checks from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. will go towards a foundation in Christopher’s name at Baystate Children’s Hospital. The money will be used to buy toys for outgoing patients.
The family is trying to shed light on a tragic accident, that took a life too soon.
“There’s been a lot of opinions obviously because of the way he died,” Christopher’s aunt Lisa said. “I have my opinions about it — but this isn’t about that. This is just about a little boy that we lost way too soon…And trying to help other children in his name.”
God bless this little boy,& his family. unfortunately,i am not in a position to be able to make a donation,but my thoughts & prayers are with his family,& i hope your family has a wonderful holiday. this was a terrible,terrible accident that hopefully never happens again. i am very sorry for your loss….
