Hostess Files Chapter 11 Bankruptcy

(AP)-

Hostess Brands, the maker of Twinkies and Wonder Bread, is reportedly preparing to file for chapter 11 bankruptcy.

The Wall Street Journal says it could happen as soon as this week.

This would be the second significant court restructuring for Hostess, which is a privately-held company.

The Wall Street Journal says the company is facing high labor costs and rising prices for ingredients, such as sugar and flour.
It is also carrying a lot of debt.
