WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — A 19-year-old is dead after falling at a construction site in West Springfield.
Witnesses tell abc40′s Jeff Valin that around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, crews were working on framing a house at the corner of George and Union Streets when a worker for the framing company fell from the roof.
The worker, a 19-year-old male, fell four stories inside the home, from the roof down to the basement floor, according to witnesses. He died at the scene.
Late Wednesday afternoon, West Springfield Police identified the victim as James Ivanov of Agawam.
West Springfield Police and Fire are currently investigating the incident.

Oh my God–this is just horrible. Is this the site of the house where the woman died in the tornado??? Two unrelated tragic deaths at the same location—who’s gonna want to live there?–No thanks!

another article i read said this house was next to the one where the woman died saving her daughter! it is so sad that this teenager lost his life, my thoughts are with his family!
