3 Holyoke Police Officers Attacked & Hospitalized
HOLYOKE, MA (WGGB) — Three Holyoke Police Officers were injured Thursday night, following a struggle with an armed suspect.
It happened just after 8 p.m., on Dwight Street.
Police say they were called to the scene to deal with a man; armed with a handgun, threatening to shoot someone.
When police tried to arrest the suspect, he attacked; while a loaded handgun was strapped to his waist.
The officers were injured and had to be transported to a nearby hospital; they have since been released.
The gun did not go off during the struggle.
This is total is a total lie I was right there when it happen and it was not like the cops ran over the guy with a car there is video a pictures. The only person transported was the guy and even after he got ran over he was being beaten in the head.Holyoke cops are pigs!!!!
If its such a lie then lets see the video! The truth is that these losers need to start behaving instead of acting like trash!
Some how you “ladies” are missing something …If someone is running around with a freaking gun they deserve to be run over…MORE than once! The amount of crime in that area makes it seem like Bagdad.

Just because the guy had a gun doesn’t mean that he is a criminal! Lots of good people are “running around” legally armed. Don’t judge until you get all the facts. Somewhere in the middle is the truth!

Dwight and linden and to Liz how do you know he is trash as a matter of fact he uncle and dad are cops. The gun that they said he had on his waist was on the floor. he did not pull it out on no one. And if he had pulled it out how come the officers did not open fire? they were chasing him and a cruiser ran him over then the four officers knowing he was on the ground started beating on them. Now that they did not mention. No cops were really harm. the only one taken to the hospital was the guy.
