AGAWAM, Massachusetts (WGGB) – Chez Josef banquet and catering in Agawam is being sold.

The family business was started in 1969 in Allan Skole. His daughter, Chez Josef’s president Linda Skole announced Thursday that she is selling the business to Marc Sparks, the current manager. He was worked for the Skole family for 21 years and will continue to oversee and manage the daily operation.

Chez Josef was one of the area’s first full service banquet and catering facilities, hosting weddings, anniversary parties, proms  and other events for 50 to 1500 people
