SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) – Springfield Police are looking for two people who allegedly went into a local home improvement store and shoplifted over $6,000 in power tools.
Two suspects entered the Lowe’s store on Boston Road Monday night, according to Springfield Police Sgt. John Delaney.
Once inside the store, Delaney says that the suspects took a store carriage and placed eight Husqvarna Chain Saws inside the carriage, and then walked out the door.
Each chain saw is worth $766 each, bringing the total theft to $6,128.
Police are now looking for the public’s help in trying to identify the suspects.

wow! How could they just walk out the door like that? And no disguises.. they should find them easily.

It happens…they calmly walk out, and everyone assumes that someone else rang them up.

Go to a real dealer when buying a chainsaw!
Im sure the suspects will be found cutting down a small forest.
This happens all the time. The (alleged) thieves will sell them to a pawn shop for cash.

The cops couldn’t find them if the set up a stand on a main street sidewalk. I’d bet they’re never found.
