PALMER, Mass. (WGGB) — State Police say traffic is still reduced to one lane eastbound on the Mass. Pike due to a tractor trailer fire in Palmer.

They say the truck was carrying meat when it caught fire just before five this morning.

The truck is still on the highway and currently being unloaded.

No injuries have been reported, but traffic delays are expected.

Police say the lanes are backed up 3 or 4 miles making for a 15 minute delay.
