SPRINGFIELD, MASS (WGGB) The upper level low that has been spinning across the northeast, over the last few days, is moving out. This means temperatures will be warming up. It’s a nice, cool, comfortable morning but temperatures will be climbing quickly and by this afternoon readings will be into the mid and upper 80s. It will turn out to be a nearly perfect summers day! Although it will be warm it will still be rather dry. Dew points will stay in the 50s, not bad. A warm front will lift through late tonight into tomorrow as it becomes more humid.
We could see a morning or midday shower or thunderstorm tomorrow then it will be sunny & hot with highs reaching into the 90s! The good news is, as the temperatures go up, tomorrow afternoon, the humidity levels will fall off a bit. Dew points will start in the 60s tomorrow but then fall into the 50s. This will allow us to cool off, at least a little bit tomorrow night. You’ll still need to keep the ACs cranking as we go into the weekend as temperatures reach into the lower 90s. There could be an isolated afternoon storm on Saturday but most of us will stay dry.
