WMECo Sending Aid to Customers Affected by Power Outages

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — Western Massachusetts Electric Company is sending three utility crews and a supervisor to assist the hundreds of thousands of customers who are still without power after Friday’s storms.

The Midwest and Mid-Atlantic region were seriously affected by the storms. At least 12 were killed. With the heat wave across the nation, no power means no air conditioning.
