Libraries: A Resource for Freebies Including Passes to Local Attractions

Chicopee, Mass. (WGGB) — The weather is hot, the kids are out of school and looking for something to do, so look no further than your local library which has plenty to offer.

Not only do they have summer reading programs, but they have other ways, you might not know about, for you to get out with your kids and do something fun.

Anne Gancarz with the Chicopee Library says, “With your library card you can come and check out museums passes for some of the local museums.  We have anything from Amelia Park, Holyoke Children’s Museum, Connecticut Trolley, the Eric Carl Museum, to regional museums and people can check them out from free or reduced admission.”

The museums and attraction passes vary by library, so check with your city or town’s branch to see what’s available for you.
