Springfield (WGGB) – Folks in Springfield are waking up this morning to a disturbing trend.
Several events, all in the span of an hour, keep fire crews scrambling.
It all started just after midnight. Springfield police and fire got a call about another Molotov cocktail thrown at a building.
This time, it hit the back of “A Touch of Garlic” restaurant on White Street.
Twenty minutes later, someone set a truck on fire on Kimberly Avenue by putting a rag into the gas tank and setting the end on fire.
Kimberly Ave is where a Molotov cocktail was thrown in a driveway Wednesday afternoon.
And just minutes later, two separate trash fires on Allen Street at the Wave gas station.
Police feel these incidents are all related and say they believe this is gang activity. Stick with ABC40 as we bring you the latest details as they come in to our newsroom.

So it was just reported on news that police are looking for 4 African American youths.now if you are white and they fire bomb your house would that be considered a hate crime.answer is yes so let’s see if they are caught if police charge them also with hate crimes.i bet if it was other way around they would.
