Pedestrian Struck in Charlemont, Police Investigate

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB)- Police are investigating an incident involving a pedestrian who was struck on Tea Street in Charlemont early Monday evening.

The call was received at 5:45 p.m.

That’s according to Police Sgt. Herbert who told us, “A person was struck on Tea Street and has been transported to the hospital.”

Herbert says the individual was taken to Baystate Franklin Medical Center with unknown injuries.

State police also responded to the accident to help clear the scene.

At this time the circumstances surrounding this incident have not been made immediately clear.
