Report: Sherman Hemsley Dead at 74

EL PASO, Tex. (WGGB) — Reports are surfacing that television star Sherman Hemsley has died.
El Paso Police tell TMZ reports that Hemsley died at his Texas home Tuesday.
He was 74 years old.
Hemsley is best known for his role as George Jefferson on the 1970′s sitcome “All in the Family” and it’s spin-off, “The Jefferson’s.” He also starred in the 1980′s series, “Amen” where he played Deacon Ernest Frye.
Hemsley’s cause of death is not yet known.
Mr. Jefferson is without a doubt…… moving on up!!
