Police Find Car Matching Description of Vehicle Involved in Holyoke Hit-and-Run

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WGGB) –Holyoke Police have found a car matching the description of one that hit and seriously injured a man Tuesday night.

Lt. Matthew Moriarty with the Holyoke Police Dept. says the hit-and-run happened in an alley by Appleton and Oak Streets around 7:30 Tuesday night.

The victim who is 21 years old, was hit more than once by the same vehicle.

He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The car that hit him was described as a gold Buick with Colorado plates.  As of 10:30pm Tuesday night, police had found a car matching that description, but had not made any arrests yet.
