Air Quality Alert for Parts of Western Mass

 SPRINGFIELD, MASS (WGGB) High heat & humidity will cause poor air quality today. The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection has issued an Air Quality Alert Action Day for ground level ozone. It remains in effect until 11 pm tonight.

Ground level ozone concentration within the region may approach or exceed unhealthy standards. Be sure to take it slow if you suffer from a respiratory disorder, are sick or elderly. Stay cool! Dan Brown
