Storms Popping Up Across Region
August 9th, 2012
SPRINGFIELD, Mass (WGGB) – A few torrential downpours and storms have been developing across western Mass.
Isolated strong to even severe storms will be popping up throughout the afternoon.
Although not everyone will be getting wet, any storm that does develop has the capability of producing gusty winds and hail.
Since these storms are slow movers, they also have the potential to cause flash flooding.
In fact, A Flood Advisory remains in effect for parts of Franklin & Hampshire Counties through the rest of the afternoon.
Be sure to head inside if you hear thunder and be sure not to drive through flooded roads.

Could you PLEASE fix your iPhone alerting app. It’s really annoying to keep getting the same (or basically the same) alerts every few minutes.
Have to carry an umbrella.
Thanks for the heads up. You guys are awesome
So true. Always getting doubles of the same alert. About to delete the app.
