JAFFREY, NH (WGGB) — The Jaffrey, New Hampshire Fireworks Festival scheduled for tonight has been cancelled due to a bomb threat.

According our New Hampshire affiliate, WMUR-TV, police received a written threat Friday morning.

The note said violent actions would take place at or near an airport where the festival would be going on, police officials told the station.

The investigation is still in early stages.
