Police Chase in Springfield Ends with Two Arrests
August 22nd, 2012
Springfield, Mass. (WGGB) — Two people are under arrest after a police chase in Springfield.
It happened around 5 p.m. Wednesday evening at the intersection of Carew Street and St. James Avenue.
Springfield police say an officer was trying to pull over a stolen car, but the driver wouldn’t stop.
The chase finally ended by the State Police barracks on Armory Street when the driver and passenger got out of the car and tried to escape on foot.
Police were able to arrest the two men. Authorities are not releasing their names at this time.
No one was injured in the chase.

A police chase- where did this happen Springfield? Well maybe they were racing to get a good parking spot at the casino.
Bahaha that was funny!
Knowing Springfield, they will be out tomorrow doing it again. Slapping these people on the wrist is getting ridiculous, why not build another prison instead of a casino? It would bring just as many jobs.
Book em dano
They get some lawyer that contends they have rights. They lost those rights as soon as a crime was committed.
People could have injured or killed.
Good jib by the police.
Springfield should be spending money for more police.
No one will come to a casino in Springfield for fear of being robbed killed or having their car hijacked.
Mayor Sarno forget about the casinos and get the streets cleaned up first!!!!!!!!
Ha I drove by that on my way to stop and shop
How come i’m never driving along and see this action on my way to work?
