Jeep Strikes Pedestrian and Van in Springfield, Victim Transported to Hospital

Springfield, Mass. (WGGB) — Springfield Police say a Jeep hit a person who was walking on a sidewalk in the area of John Street late Friday afternoon.
The incident occurred just after 4:30 p.m. Friday on the corner of John and Plainfield Streets.
The victim was taken to the hospital, but is expected to survive.
While we have not yet been able to get the full circumstances surrounding this incident, what we do know at this time is the Jeep also hit a van.
No word on if anyone in either vehicle was injured or if anyone has been arrested.

I think it should be against the law for Jeeps to drive on the sidewalk.
I stopped in the middle of Cooley street yesterday so two women pushing a baby in a stroller yesterday could cross. Soooo dangerous
