4 People Are Homeless After King Street Fire

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) —A fire broke out at 58 King St. at around 6 A.M. 4 people were home at the time.  According to the Executive Aide to Springfield’s Fire Chief, Dennis Leger, the fire started in a second floor bedroom. He estimates about $75,000 worth of damage was done. Red Cross is assisting  the family.

No one was hurt in the fire. The cause is under investigation.
