Why the hell would anyone ‘Like’ this story? WTF!
cheryl, for some stupid reason, when i go to click share this news story on FB from the news’ website itself, it makes you “like” it on FB first. real stupid-i know, that’s why i have stopped sharing from their website and just copy and paste links instead. this is like de ja vu, a little over a month later. RIP, my condolences to the family…
Are there REALLY ppl still so NEW to FB they still don’t get why ppl “Like” a post like this on FB? EVERY time, someone apallingly asks the question.
Lynnette – then you are liking the wrong thing. To share their story, you are supposed to have Liked THEIR PAGE on FB. Liking a post is really to follow the story as updates become available.
Cindy…I have liked their page on FB, that’s how I am reading this story…I rarely visit the news website at all anymore. How did I find this out? Because I visited their website and found out that I can’t log in and leave a comment from their website, I emailed the news station, and they replied saying that they would fix this, but it’s not fixed. If I want to share a story, it’s says “like to share”…Also, I just realized last week, that every comment from their FB comments, shows on their news website’s comments…so readers without having a FB account, can read all of the FB comments anyway-they’re linked. So, if you think you are posting only on FB, you’re not. Sorry to explain all of this here on the actual news article….but I have looked into this too…BTW- it’s not me that liked this news article, I was just commenting up there to explain to Cheryl my exp., thinking that might help her understand why ppl seem to like bad news stories on FB….Again, My Condolences to this person’s family.
Thanks for the people calirifying for the newbies to FB, lol. You like a story so you can get updates. You DONT like a story like this because you are happy someone is dead….man, I sware people thinking Facebook is the key to life, LOL….
That’s an industrial area. Must be a night shift worker.
People like it in order to get the updates as well.
Some people don’t understand the “rules” of fb, for example YOU LIKE A STORY SO YOU CAN FOLLOW IT, NOT BECAUSE YOU GET OFF ON MOTORCYCLE CRASHES/DEATHS… Duh!
People…when will you learn to become more aware that motorcycles and cars should be able to share the roads without incidents. Everyone…drive and ride with care.
Really is this your first time on Facebook. You like a story so you can follow it.
Does anyone know the name of the deceased?
I know alot of the motion sensor lights will not trigger a green light for a motorcycle. I find this dangerous as I have to sometimes treat a red light as a stop sign on my motorcycle. I let the first policeman I seen know and he said I had to call someone else. Motorcycles are everywhere and we need to pay attention. I share the road. I am a motorcyclist and a cyclist. Thoughts and prayers to the family of the deceased.
Someone has died and your some of you are worried about liking on fb… Shows were our states of minds are… Have some respect! The lord needs to be in your lives a little more!
Rip!!!! I pray for the family and friends !
Really crazy **** dah u have hit like to follow the story!
My heart goes out to the family after seeing the victim’s name being released today. Not that it’s any less tragic for any victim’s family … but this family already had a tragic loss several month’s ago. SO sad!
