Springfield, Mass. (WGGB) — Good news for food lovers! A brand new restaurant is bringing a taste of Northern India to Springfield.

Panjabi Tadka opened its doors for the first time this afternoon at a special grand opening celebration.

The owner says she thinks Springfield is the perfect place to not only start a restaurant, but also to make your home.

“I believe it’s a great city, I have faith in it. I am hoping everybody will see it as beautiful as it is. We’re hoping that that we’ll do good,” explains Owner Narinder Kaur.

Panjabi Tadka is located at 1688 Main Street in Springfield.

It’s open for both lunch and dinner.
