I-91 Reopen after Two Accidents Close Lanes

LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WGGB) – Two separate accidents caused quite the traffic problems on Interstate 91 in Longmeadow Tuesday afternoon.
State Police say that two tractor trailer trucks collided, which then caused four other cars to become involved in a second accident.
Three people have been taken to area hospitals with non life-threatening injuries.
Traffic was only getting by in the left lane, as investigators continue to clear the accidents from the center and right travel lanes.
All lanes of the highway were reopen by early evening.
Perfect! Would have been nice to know before getting on the highway in Granby CT and sitting on 91 for an hour in Longmeadow, only to get off onto Route 5 and sit there in more traffic its worse on Route 5 right now- traffic not moving …
