7-Eleven in Springfield Robbed at Knifepoint, Police Search for Suspect

Springfield, Mass. (WGGB) — The Springfield Police Department is looking for a man who held up the 7-Eleven on Springfield Street at knifepoint Wednesday evening.

According to Police Lt. John Bobianski they received the call at 8:53 p.m. for an armed robbery at the convenience store located at 425 Springfield Street.

Bobianski told ABC40 News, “He brandished a knife, stole $200 and fled on foot towards Chicopee.”

The suspect is described as a black male, 5 feet 7 inches and wearing jeans with a black and purple hoodie.

The Springfield Police Detective Bureau is investigating this armed robbery and they are reviewing the security footage from the store.

No one was injured in this incident.

  1. Now, Charity, lets be fair, she has the right to sound stupid just like everybody else…
    Tina, there’s going to be crime in Springfield wether or not there is a casino, and lets be honest, if the city uses even a little of the taxes pulled in from a casino, they can put more security measures in place.
    Ps… “Tis better to close ones mouth and be thought a fool, then to open it, and remove all doubt.”

Looks like some people have nothing better to do than search the blogs all day so they can talk sht about spfld and give their opinions about how the judicial sistem should handle it and the worst part is that they dont even live in spfld!! Im not gonna mention any names so i wont say TINA..ooops srry!
