SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — Police need your help tonight finding two people they say bought quite the ‘romance’ package off a stolen credit card.
The suspects are a man and a woman, who you’re about to see on surveillance video.
Police say this happy couple – if they even are a couple – are starting off marriage on the wrong foot.
This surveilance photo was taken at the Eastfield Mall on August 24th.
Police say the two made purchases with a stolen credit.
When the two suspects left Sears, it’s not like they had just one item on their bill. Actually there were several, totaling over $2,000.
The exact total: $2,949.
As you can see, it’s quite the wedding package – a pendant, necklace, diamond bridal set, and ring.
Police are hoping someone recognizes them.
If you do, you are urged to contact the West Springfield Police Department at (413) 263-3210 or you can Text-A-Tip. Send it to CRIMES (274637) and in the message, type SOLVE and your tip.

The store should take the loss. No ID…no payment.
dirtbags
Clearly the person selling the items is an idiot for not checking a photo id with the purchase being that high. Oh ya, they said it was at Sears so it all makes sense now!
Just proves that stores don’t check ID’s or verify signaturas!! Then you wonder why identity theft is on the rise!
Most stores have the signature captures so cashiers aren’t even touching the cards anymore.
Greed on both parts, thieves and stores.
I’m down with cutting their fingers off
Broke asses.
