Springfield Police Looking for Help Identifying Robbery Suspect

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) – Springfield Police are hoping that newly-released surveillance photos may help them locate a robbery suspect.

Springfield Police Sgt. John Delaney says that just after 2:00 a.m. on Friday, September 28, an unknown man broke into the Pride Gas Station on Page Boulevard.

The robbery, which was caught on store surveillance tape, shows the the suspect stealing money and cigarettes.

The video was able to get a couple good views of the suspect’s face.

The same store was then also broken into again this past Tuesday by allegedly the same thief, Delaney says.

This time, however, the suspect covered his head with a shirt. He again stole money and cigarettes.

If anyone has any information on either robbery or may know who the robber is, you are asked to call Springfield Police at (413) 787-6355 or ‘Text-A-Tip’ to CRIMES (274637). In the message, type solve and your tip.
