SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — The countdown to Halloween is on, but finding an affordable costume that’s still unique, isn’t always easy. So we set out to find the best deals for you and your little ghouls and goblins.
At Spirit Halloween stores across the area, and in Springfield on Parker Street, finding the deals is as simple as going online. There are number of coupon’s available on the store’s website.
This weekend, if you like them on Facebook, you can print out a downloadable coupon for 20 percent off your entire order.
Manager of the Parker Street store, Paul Wyman, says the Super Skin Suit is a hot item this year.
The store also offers a 10 percent military discount.
Another way to save money on costumes is just buying accessories. You can use clothing you already have around the house and dress it up with unique items like those sold at Faces in Northampton. This year, they’re focusing on two themes in particular – vampires and zombies.
They also have a number of other accessories, including wigs, animal-themed additions, pitch forks, feather boas and even stuff for the guys.
