BOSTON (WGGB) – Police and fire crews are on-scene of a trolley derailment in Boston.
MBTA spokesperson Joe Pesaturo tells WCVB-TV that just before 4:00 p.m. Monday, a slow moving train derailed in the Brigham Circle area, near the 700 block of Huntington Avenue.
The trolley belonged the ‘E’ branch of the MBTA’s Green Line.
WCVB adds that three people on the train – two passengers and the trolley operator – were complaining of back and neck pain.
Trolley service is currently suspended in the area, and commuters are being put on shuttle buses between Northeastern University and Heath Street.
