Stop protecting the predators! Open Alcatraz and put them all there to fend on their own..no such thing as rehabilitating a offender of this nature.

There seems to be people here who believe because they were given a list of people, that that list can be used in a democratic way to banish and isolate a person without hearing or trial and outside of a court room.

Of course, free countries can’t do that.

If the town is taking the Constitutional protection of the freedom of association and is doing it without regard to any individual, that registry, as a matter of law, does not have to be followed.

It is illegal for ANY legislative body to banish ANY person without a court. A conviction standing alone is not enough. This taking of a person’s freedom is so serious and so complete and done outside of a court of law makes the *** offender registry, as a matter of law, unenforceable and null and void.

In other words, you don’t have the power to banish and if you use it, your law is presumed to be illegal.

Not all offender actually go to prison . Most r defined as having a “disease” or sickness that’s cant be controlled . There are so many “sick” people out there it’s disturbing . The protection list of places should be expanded , it should include malls, grocery stores ( pacific times only) and town fairs. If it was up to me all offenders would have a GPS tracker on them

I personally feel that if you commit crimes of a sexual nature against children, that there should be restrictions as to places that children frequent. Anything to protect our children, not the criminals who prey on them.

Why even let these people out of prison if you are going to make them suffer for the rest of their lives? Isn’t the point of going to jail that you serve time for a crime you committed?
