Ratings: How Did Arrow, Nashville and Chicago Fire Do?

Nashville got off to a decent start Wednesday, but it was Arrow that really hit the ratings mark.

The CW superhero series drew 4 million viewers and a 1.3 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, making it the network’s most-watched series premiere since The Vampire Diaries‘ debut in 2009. Lead-out Supernatural (2.6 million, 1.0) saw a two-tenths bump.

Arrow also tied NBC’s ailing comedy lineup, Animal Practice (3.9 million, 1.1) and Guys with Kids (4.2 million, 1.4), in total viewers in the 8 o’clock hour and in the 18-to-49 and 18-to-34 demos.
