Springfield, Mass (WGGB) Temperatures will be falling into the 20s across the area tonight. A hard freeze is expected putting an end to the growing season and the mosquitoes.

The record low for tomorrow, October 13th is 25 degrees. We have an outside chance of breaking the record which was set in 1990.

With clear skies, light winds and a cold air mass in place temperatures will free fall! If you have potted plants, mums ect… Bring them inside before you go to bed tonight or you may lose them.
