Average gas prices–Oct. 22, 2012

Gas prices have dropped significantly around the country, giving some relief to drivers compared to the week before. The national gasoline average is 23 cents above the price this time last year and about 13 cents below last week’s price. Premium gasoline is now averaging $3.99. Diesel fuel is about 29 cents above this time last year.
