HOLYOKE, Mass. (WGGB) — A week ago, we reported that 531 people were behind on their sewer bills in Holyoke.
In an effort to collect that back money, their names were printed in The Republican.
Officials in the Collector’s office tell us that now just under half of those people and businesses have paid up.
The city says that in the past few days, they have recovered $121,000 in back payments.
