Belchertown Woman Charged in Deadly Granby Crash
GRANBY, Mass. (WGGB) — The driver involved a deadly Granby accident is now facing charges.
Granby Police announced Friday that 20-year-old Tessa Desjardins of Belchertown has been charged with motor vehicle homicide by negligence operation.
Police say that Desjardins was allegedly behind the wheel of the car when it hit 61-year-old Faith Schauer-Swift of Maitland, Fla. as she was walking north along the southbound side of School Street on Sunday, October 21.
It’s unclear when Desjardins will appear in court.
