AGAWAM, Mass. (WGGB) — Agawam Police have charged three more youths have been charged related to a string of ‘bottle bombs’ that were found around town.
Detective Richard Light says that in total, four juveniles have been charged.
Last week, police announced that one of the juveniles was under arrest for their alleged involvement in the case.
Light says that two more youths have been arrested and another has been summoned to court
Last week, police received several calls reporting “pressure activated explosive devices using plastic soda bottles” found in mailboxes across town.
The devices were built out of soda bottles and contained some sort of caustic chemical. If these ‘bottle bombs’ were to go off, police note that they “can cause bodily injury and chemical burns.”
The names, ages, and genders of the suspects have not been released.
Where are the parents when these “kids” are making this stuff. Sometimes you have to make the parent just as responsible, especially when something like this could have caused bodily harm.

I agree with you Nix…then take away the things they just can’t live without! I believe both is a better way than nothing but a slap on the wrist.
Bombs are an act of terror this kids should be charged as adults

No names. Really why do they always seem to cover up **** in that town… Yep just another slap on the wrist. Cops get away with shooting innocent people so I guess it shouldn’t surprise us that its okay to blow up mail boxes and hurt people at the same time… Wtf
Dee…trust me I am quite sure they WILL NOT get just a slap on the wrist. This is a federal offence.
Well if they are juveniles then they can’t release their names by law. Agawam has nothing here in town to occupy these kids no wonder they are resorting to this type of behavior. Kids don’t need to be at home when they are making these bombs or doing anything shady for that matter, trust me, we have LOTS of abandoned properties/buildings around town for them to hang out at. The delinquent kids in Agawam can do whatever they want whenever they want to and nothing ever gets done about it. So I am SHOCKED that they actually arrested these kids.
