Your Trick-or-Treat Forecast

Springfield, Mass. (wggb)- It’s a damp morning with a few showers along with areas of drizzle & mist. Things will dry off this afternoon and winds will be lighter today.

Trick-or-Treat Time:

There will be no major weather problems for the kids this evening.  Showers should move out today so it will likley be mainly, cloudy but dry, and cool but not cold. Winds should be mainly light with temperatures in the middle 50s. Have fun!

Sandy continues to slowly weaken as she drifts across the northeast. She will continue to bring us clouds and a few showers today and through the weekend. However things will be mainly quiet as we move into November. Temperatures will be seasonable with readings mainly in the 50s.

A cold front will sweep through Friday night kicking up the winds but with very little if any moisture. This front will take what’s left of Sandy (not much at this time) and give her a boot into the north Atlantic.

It will bring back some sunshine as we move into the weekend. It will be cool but bright, especially on Sunday. Highs both days will be near 50. Don’t forget to set you clock back one hour Saturday night before you go to bed. We will gain an hour of sleep Saturday night but lose sunlight in the evening. On Sunday the sun will be setting at 4:43!…

Have a great Halloween!
