The Weekend Forecast

Sprignfield, Mass (WGGB) – November will continue to live up to it’s reputation.  The clouds and cool temperatures will stick around for the next couple of days. In fact, it will feel a bit more like late November instead of early November. Temperatures will be averaging a good 5 to 10 degrees below normal through much of next week.

The weekend is looking dry and chilly. There will still be a lot of clouds around tomorrow however, finally by Sunday we should see more in the way of sunshine.  If you’re planning on picking up the leaves this weekend you may want to wait until Sunday when the winds will be a bit lighter.

By the way, don’t forget to set you clocks back one hour tomorrow night before you go to bed. We’ll gain an hour of sleep tomorrow night but lose sunlight in the evening. On Sunday the sun will be setting at 4:41!… It’s also a good time to change the batteries in your smoke/carbon monoxide detectors.

Election Day (Tuesday)

It will stay dry and cool through Election Day. Right now the big day is looking sunny but chilly. It will likely be in the 40s. The good news is that much of the country is looking quiet. There will be a storm across the southeast that could bring some rain to the southeast part of the country. (Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina) This storm may swing up the coast to bring a cold rain or  wintry mix .. YIKES !!! by Wednesday… Stay tuned!

Have a great Weekend
