SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) – The race for the U.S. Senate seat in Massachusetts has Democrat Elizabeth Warren holding a four-point lead over Republican Scott Brown, according to the latest telephone survey from the Western New England University Polling Institute.
The survey of more than 500 likely voters was conducted October 26 through November 1 in partnership with The Republican newspaper of Springfield, MA and MassLive.com. It found Warren with 50 percent and Brown with 46 percent.
The poll has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus four percentage points.
In the partnerships’ last survey, conducted September 28 through October 4, Warren led Brown by five points. She led by six points in the partnership’s September 6 through 13 survey.
