If it has a cut out square in the inside it could be mines i had 27.000.00 in there i threw the book out about a month and a half ago is thick and very old please return to me if possible thats all my savings ive been hidding since i waa 11 years old i really appreciated

This was so common back in the 50′s and 60′s. People did not trust banks. When my grandma died, we cleaned out her house. We found money between the sheets and towels in the linen closet. Also taped to the inside of the Kitchen cabinets in envelopes.

this us an awesome story… wondering though if it was something like my great uncle where his son just threw everything out when he died. I was so angry…he had done a lot of research about his mother (my great grandma) because she might be an illegitimate sister of the red baron and he threw all of his research away!!
