USO Holds Veteran Thank You Breakfast

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WGGB) — The Pioneer Valley USO took time this morning to honor our veterans.

It held the second annual Thank You Breakfast at The Log Cabin.

Veterans from World War II to the war on terror were recognized for their service.

“Knowing that the fact there are still people here to recognize and acknowledge the fact of what they went through. I think it’s a feel good story for them,” says David Jubinville, the USO Board of Directors President.

In addition to recognizing veterans, Kayla Trombley was sworn into the Air Force Reserve by Colonel Steve Vaultrain, the Wing Commander at Westover Air Reserve Base

ABC40′s Dave Madsen was honored to serve as the emcee for this morning’s event.
