Have to Fly? Massport Says Leave the Car Home

BOSTON (AP) — Massachusetts Port Authority officials are asking travelers flying out of Logan Airport to leave their cars at home and take public transportation.

Business travel is peaking in the week before Thanksgiving and Massport officials say “on-airport” parking spaces are “exceedingly scarce.”

Transportation officials say Silver Line bus service between South Station and Logan is free.

Massport says it’s also offering reduced parking rates at its Logan Express parking lots in Braintree, Framingham, Peabody and Woburn.

  1. Yea sure leave your car in the street in Boston or some obscure parking lot. Good luck getting back to it after your flight. Probably take longer than your flight. Airports are so Customer conscious.
