Northampton (WGGB) – A man hit by a car in Northampton while walking on Halloween has died from his injuries.

This is according to the Daily Hampshire Gazette.

35-year-old Pallav Parakh of Hatfield was hit by a truck on October 31st in downtown Northampton while he was in the middle of a crosswalk.

Parakh had recently joined Baystate Medical Practices as a member of the Gastroenterology team in Greenfield.  He also worked one day a week at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.

Charges have not been filed against the driver in that accident.  The incident is still under investigation.
