Sullivan Metals in Holyoke Celebrates 60 Years

Holyoke, Mass. (WGGB) — It was a special night Friday for Sullivan Metals of Holyoke as they celebrated their 60th Anniversary at the Log Cabin.

The company was founded by George and William Sullivan Senior in 1953 and now 3 generations of the family oversee it.

The Sullivan family is proud of their family business and of the city where they are located.

“Well, you know, Holyoke is very important to me.  I was born and raised in Holyoke, we’ve had our business here all this time, we look forward to having our business here for many more years. It’s a great city, and I only hope good things for this city, and I hope we can continue to do well here and can continue to bring employment to the city,” explains Bill Sullivan.

Friday was just the beginning of a yearlong anniversary celebration.
